A new Bible study will be starting the week of June 7th. We will be using the book, The Serenity Prayer, by William Pietsch to explore this foundational prayer through scripture, discussion, music, and spiritual practices.
This is a 7 week study. You have two options to gather. We meet on Wednesdays at 7:30pm. We also have a gathering on Saturdays at 10am. You are free to alternate between meeting times according to your schedule.
At this time we are meeting via Zoom. If you are interested in joining us, please email Pastor Dorinda at firstname.lastname@example.org for further information and the meeting link.
The book can be purchased through this link at Amazon, or any other place you purchase your books. https://www.amazon.com/Serenity-Prayer-Book-William-Pietsch/dp/0062506374/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=serenity+prayer+book&qid=1590782206&sr=8-1

The Walter Hoving Home is a nonprofit, residential discipleship home for Ladies with life-controlling problems such as drug addiction, alcoholism, prostitution and court cases. The program is geared to rebuilding the lives of women in an atmosphere of warmth, trust, support and love. They teach the women a new way to live with a biblical foundation. They deal with the issues in their lives such as anger, bitterness, low self-esteem that has caused them to live destructive lifestyles. Another component is the Career Readiness program where the women learn to establish a healthy work ethic and prepare them for the employment.
The Choir will join us for worship offering praise music and testimonies sharing part of their life’s journey and giving affirmation to God’s faithfulness. We will follow worship with a covered dish luncheon. We hope to see you there!
